Dog poops in cage when we leave the house?

the dog is completely potty trained when we are home no pooping or peeing in the house. when we go to leave even for 10 mins she will poop and flat out roll around in her own poop and eat it weather she is in the crate or not. I have stopped experimenting and letting her out because i know she needs consistency. I have teamed it up to separation anxiety. I have been putting her in her crate about 15 mins before I go to leave and have completely ignored her. She does fine and goes and lays down. But even if I am only gone she still poops even with ignoring her. I am not sure how to curb her anxiety. Even before we never amplified the anxiety by talking or doing high pitched noises. I am really getting tired of picking up poop. And honestly I am not sure what else to do. We put things in her cage to distract her and it still dosn't matter. I am pretty close to leaving her outside the house when i leave. I think she is inbred she is a standard schnauzer there are only aprox 500 registered in the US. I think her basic instincts are messed up to some degree when it comes to the rolling in her own poop. We have tried everything but I am really needing some suggestions on how to get her to stop. I am doing what the books tell me to do. Don't punish her unless you catch her. She poops in her we still tell her its bad we have done it both ways. any suggestions will be helpful. ... thank you
