I broke up with my girlfriend(transual)?

I have been dating my girlfriend for almost 3 years. She is a transual which I am ok with. I actual like it but here is the problem. We met online and hit it off. Shes from the Philippines and I was in Japan at the time. We only met once for about a week and then I had to leave again. We talked ALL the time online and on webcam. I truly love her with all my heart but when I finally came back stateside I started to realize that it would probably not work out. Besides the fact that it is expensive to fly to the Philippines, I cant possibly give her the attention and love she deserves. I cant let my buddies know about her because she is a transual and they would never accept it. Neither would my family....and this is TOTALLY unfair to her!! I broke up with her yesterday and I am wrecked emotionally...I feel sooooo sad and I know I broke her heart. My heart is broken too. I felt as though I was breaking up with her for the best but now I am not so sure. What should I do guys???
