Is Thomas Pynchon the *only* reclusive author who has never ociated himself with the media?

Dan Brown is not partial to the media. Most people only saw him when the trial was going on in London. And Cormac Mc Carthy who just won the Pulitzer is rather reclusive as well. There are many others. On the other hand, Stephen King is not reclusive at all. He is frequently seen at Red Sox games. Pax- C
